Let Me Entertain You

Today at Enrich we did performance. For performance two people from James Hargest came to teach us some dance moves for Let Me Entertain You. We also did a Technology challenge where we had to make a mini earthquake-proof house - enough to fit your whole team in. It had to be made out of newspaper, string, scissors and cellotape. p

Photo Shoot

Hi! Today at Enrich Liam and I did a photo shoot. What we had to do was we had to take a photo of each others whole body with a brick background. First we got a camera and took a photo then we imported our eight photos. Lastly, we emailed our photos to be printed off in colour. We put the photos so we could put them on the wall.

Today with Nicola we did a Multiple Intelligence survey. What you do is you have to answer fifty three questions and then push see results to see your results. You can have up to eight parts of your brain working at one time. I was a Kinesthetic Learner.

  

Prezi

Hi! Today at Enrich I did talent development. I made another piece of music on garageband And then presented it. My piece was a piano piece.

I did Prezi with Katie. What you do on Prezi is you make a presentation instead of a keynote. I made one on myself about the things I like and don't like. For example I don't like animal abuse and other things like I like sports. I learnt to use Prezi in all kinds of ways.

Altocumulus

Today at Enrich I did a cloud pattern workshop with Jenni. The six main cloud types are Stratocumulus, Cumulonimbus, Stratus, Cumulus, Altocumulus and Cirrus. I saw Cirrus and Stratus outside. Stratus is a flat layer of clouds, light rain, drizzle or flurries likely overcast skies at best. Cirrus is high wispy ice clouds often seen in clear skies and means a change in the weather.

Rushed

Today at Enrich I'm surprisingly going to get to go to the chess tournament. I went last year so I know what's going to happen. Last year when we were there we ate lunch, played five games of chess, had subway and then we went home. The place I finished to go to the chess tournament was...fourth. Today in Talent Development we learnt a new song called "Maybe Tomorrow" by Golden Horse. For "Maybe Tomorrow" we got the words for the song. The first three times then we had to do it without any words which we did pretty well at. Why we only had the words three times and then we didn't was because Nicola wanted us to learn songs fast.

Dry ice

Brrrrrrr! It's cold. Today at Enrich I did three dry ice experiments. In the first one we had to put the dry ice in a long tube with cold water and food colouring. What happens is bubbles and the cold water comes out [whatever colour you choose]. After we did the other two we did one ourselves. What we did was fill the cup three quarters high, put food colouring in and put dry ice in. If you want to make it bubble more put more cold water in.

Disney Danger

Today we did drama. The types of drama we did were spatial and psychological. We also did an activity called There is Only One Liar. We also had a monologue we had to memorise. Mine was called Disney Danger and is all about  the dangers of taking your parents to Disneyland.
