Week 6

Today at Enrich I versed Nathan in chess and it was stale mate. The class also did a Wilson game called Hula Hoop Amoeba, and a thinkers key rotation. I only did the variations key with Alana and the ridiculous key with Katie. In the ridiculous key Katie said "6 year old's are allowed to drive",  "you only have to go to school 1 day per week", and "shoes do not exist" - we had to think of all the positive things about these ridiculous statements.

Type without looking?

Today at Enrich we did a letter typing programme called Peter's online typing test which contained the letters a,s,d,f. We also had Grant Meikle  from the sea shepherd organisation come to talk to us about saving whales and seals and about his perspective on saving the whales. He was the engineer so he had to pump gas into the ship every four hours so he had a cabin of his own. He also told us that he shot stink bombs at the Japanese and the gas would make it so they couldn't eat the whales but they could be used for scientific research.
